Roosting in slatted rafters of horse barn hayloft. I’m in town visiting now (July 2018) and saw them here at this time last year. I didn’t have a good flashlight so number is rough estimate. Maternity roost. I found 2 dead pups and 1 dead adult on floor of barn loft. Also 1 dead chipmunk beneath the bat roost. Photos attached are ones I took in July 2017. A couple of slats in the rafters are packed with bats, plus a few slats had a lone bat roosting. Barn owner seems okay co-existing with the bats.
