Do you have what it takes to climb up 32 feet and challenge yourself to eight 23-to-32-foot-long challenge elements including the Wobbly Logs, Icicle Traverse and Multivine? Give it a try at Claridon Woodlands! Ready to come back down to earth? Your exit is a hold-your-breath-and-jump, 100-foot-long zipline finish!

Our new season on the high ropes course begins Saturday, May 23.

Get up there Ropes Rules & Regulations

Reservations are required. As space is available, same-day reservations can be made online, by phone or onsite. Geauga County residents can climb for free (ID required). Sessions will be conducted rain or shine, but will be canceled due to severe weather such as thunderstorms. Last minute weather-related closures are posted to our social media, and efforts are made to call all affected registrations. Click the SMS when registering for last minute updates.

Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your reserved time.

Ropes Course Waiver Form • Safety Rules of Participation

High ropes require assistance from a trained staff member to ensure fun and safe adventures for all. Ropes sessions are one hour in length; the maximum group size is up to 8 people.

Admission is free only for Geauga County residents (IDs checked for proof of residency). All out-of-county residents are $20, even if they are registered by, or included on the same reservation as, a Geauga resident. Fees must be paid by credit card, either online or onsite at check-in.

All participants under the age of 18 years old are required to have their parent or legal guardian sign a waiver. Accompanying adults need not climb the course except under certain circumstances that may require it; please inquire at the course.

Please note that the following safety requirements will also be confirmed at check-in before harnessing:

    • Participants must be at least 10 years old.
    • Participants must be at least 4’6″ (54″) tall.
    • Participants must weigh at least 50 pounds.
    • Participants must not weigh more than 250 pounds.
    • Participants must wear close-toed shoes. No flip-flops, sandals or bare feet.

If you do not meet any of the above criteria, you may not participate on Claridon Woodlands’ high ropes course.
