THE MAPLE HIGHLANDS TRAIL-SOUTH
The Maple Highlands Trail-South between Tare Creek and Burton-Windsor Road, which is owned by the Village of Middlefield, is closed for waterline work. This alert will be removed when we learn it has been reopened.
Also while travelling The Maple Highland Trail-South, please anticipate a temporary aggregate surface approximately one quarter mile north of the Headwaters Park trailhead on Route 608, the result of a damaged culvert, as we wait for assistance with a more permanent repair.
THE WEST WOODS
The Trout Lily Trail and Discovery Trail at The West Woods will be closed for construction beginning as early as April 16 for approximately a month and a half, with anticipated completion at the end of May (weather dependent). Improvements include a new boardwalk and replacement of asphalt with an ADA-accessible aggregate trail. Click here to view the trail map and see if your visit will be affected.
VETERANS LEGACY WOODS
As noted on this map of Veterans Legacy Woods, portions of the Duty Trail is closed as part of an ongoing stream restoration project.
